The Essex Recreation Council is pleased to announce the addition of a brand new program.
The Silent Golden Agers are now meeting monthly at Essex Elementary School's Recreation Activity Room. The Silent Golden Agers are a senior social group for the deaf and hearing impaired.
They stay busy with Bingo, picnics, luncheons, trips, movies and guest speakers.
Many of the guest speakers will address the deaf community's concerns, plans and interests for 2011.
